B.B. Coke High School stands as a beacon of educational excellence in Junction, St. Elizabeth, serving students from across St. Elizabeth and neighboring communities in southern Manchester. Since our founding in 1971 as Junction Junior Secondary School, we have been dedicated to providing quality secondary education to students in rural areas where access to comprehensive high school programs was once limited.
Our transformation from a junior secondary institution to a full high school represents our unwavering commitment to academic growth and community service. Today, we offer a comprehensive curriculum that includes Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) subjects and an advanced sixth-form program preparing students for the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE). Under the leadership of Principal Mrs. Liteasha Gallimore-Stoner and Vice Principal Mr. Kamar Findlay, we continue to expand our academic offerings and enhance our facilities.
We take great pride in our recent achievements, including the elimination of our shift system in 2015 following the addition of new classrooms, and our growing reputation in both academics and athletics. Our rugby and football teams have brought honor to our school, most notably winning the ISSA Ben Francis Cup in 2019. As we move forward, B.B. Coke High School remains committed to becoming the school of choice for families throughout our region.
Guided by our motto 'Juntos Construimos - Together We Build,' we foster an environment where students, teachers, and the community work collaboratively to achieve excellence. Our dedicated faculty and staff are committed to nurturing well-rounded individuals who are prepared to make meaningful contributions to Jamaica and the global community.
